The Commissioner has now completed a follow up review into the original audit, which was published in December 2009, on the accessibility of the police complaints system to the public.

In general the Commissioner is pleased at the progress made by all eight forces. Only 13 of the 53 original recommendations and observations have not been fully discharged and assurances have been given from the forces that these will be compleded imminently.
