Summary and Key Findings
The applicant, who was a school teacher, was the subject of allegations of assault by a number of pupils. Her complaints about the police arise from the investigation into those allegations.
Of the four complaints considered, the Commissioner found that two were handled reasonably whilst one was not. The remaining complaint, which concerned the delay in the handling of the other complaints was upheld by the Commissioner but no recommendation was made in this connection. A single recommendation was made in respect of one of the other complaints.
